The acceptance of any order is based on our terms and conditions of supply.
1. Prices :
Prices are valid from 2nd January and supersede all previous price lists. Prices quoted are in £ Sterling but exclusive of VAT, which will be charged at the prevailing rate. Express 48-hour delivery is charged @ £10.50 + VAT to a Mainland UK address, for other destinations please contact us for costs. All prices are subject to fluctuation due to factors beyond the Company’s control.
2. Small Orders :
Where you require quantity smaller than the minimum quantity shown, this is normally possible but usually carries a small order surcharge.
3. Guarantee :
We guarantee all products against defects in workmanship or faulty materials. In the event of a customer complaint we require to examine the items at first hand and then we will agree either replacements or credit note as may be agreed (see Returns policy).
Clothing and other products are guaranteed in normal wear & use & in normal domestic washing powders. Clothing is not guaranteed when in contact with extreme or harsh working environments, or when in contact with strong bleaches & other corrosive materials. Customers should ensure that they have clothing suitable for the intended use.
Customers should satisfy themselves that they have clothing complying with the relevant Health& Safety regulations for their business activities.
All clothing will fade in constant use & in sunlight. Colour ranges & size ranges can vary from supplier to supplier. Customers are advised that metallic threads are not always as hardwearing as normal rayon & polyester threads in normal use.
The FT Promotions requires ALL instructions to be in writing & cannot accept responsibility for errors in the absence of clear written instructions. In addition customers should not seek to revise or amend their requirements once an order has been placed. Full order information should be received on a single document to confirm design details, positioning, colours, sizes etc.
Colours shown on this site are a rough approximation of actual colours. Sample clothing is available where accurate colour matching is required.
4. Payment Terms :
Payment shall be made in full with your order, once a trading relationship as been established payment shall be made in full within 30 days of invoice, unless we have agreed special settlement terms in writing. Any discounts are offered on the strict understanding that accounts are paid by the due date. We reserve the right to invoice a £30 late payment fee in addition to any such discounts that become overdue.
5. Web Orders :
Presently we cannot take any orders on our web site. Can you print off order form and fax, post or email it to us. If you fax/email your order will not be processed until we receive funds in to our bank account.
6. Delivery :
Standard delivery is quoted at 14 to 28 working days, shorter delivery times may in-cure express service charges; please check with customer service to confirm if such charges would be liable. Every effort will be made to deliver on time, however if for any reason these delivery times cannot be met you will be contacted and advised as to the new delivery date – you may at your discretion cancel your order if this is not satisfactory and you will receive a full refund. We normally use overnight carriers or post and carriage charges are added automatically to your order. As a rule of thumb single item cost £2.95 and box of 36 cost £12.50. We progress your order straight away & confirm a delivery date to you on placement of order. Normal delivery dates are – plain stock within 3-5 working days, printed or embroidered stock with 14-18 working days. Delivery dates will be confirmed on placement of order.
7. Passing of title and risk :
The risk in the goods shall pass to you on delivery. All goods delivered or not remain our property until payment is received in full. Until payment is received you shall retain such goods separately from other goods and clearly mark them in such a way that they can be readily identified as being our property and any payment received by you for any sale of such goods must be held in a separate account in trust for us. In the event of non payment by you for such goods we will, without loss of any rights or remedy, remove from your possession those goods belonging to us in accordance with these conditions and we shall be entitled to enter upon the property where the goods are stored and repossess and remove the same. You hereby grant us irrevocable licence to enter your premises for the said purposes.
8. Products :
We reserve the right to alter any details or design of products illustrated without notice. Should the specification of any product ordered be different than as described, you will be notified as to these changes before your order is actioned. You may reject any goods which do not correspond to your requirements at the time you placed the order – notwithstanding any agreement in writing you have made as to any known differences. All images contained on this site are for illustrative purposes only and the products may be subject to slight variations in specification (such as colour tone or finish) due to batch production.
9. Quotation and Contracts :
Orders are accepted subject to our right to adjust prices quoted to take account of any changes in the law or Government regulation requiring us to increase prices by way of direct taxation, import duties, customs and excise duties or otherwise. Should any increase be necessary before your order is accepted by us, we shall notify you of such increases and give you the opportunity to continue with the order or cancel.
10. Quantity variation :
We shall be deemed to have fulfilled our contract by delivery of a quantity within 10% plus or minus of the quantity of printed goods ordered and you will be charged at the rate for the quantity delivered. Where payment is made before delivery we shall always refund for any discrepancies below the quantity ordered.
11. Claims :
Claims arising from damages, partial loss, quality or quantity must be made in writing to us, so as to reach us within 7 days of receipt of goods or such goods shall be deemed to comply with the terms of contract. You must examine all goods at the time of delivery. We shall not be liable for any loss arising from damage caused to the goods in transit unless loss or damage is noted on the delivery note at the time of delivery. Claims in respect of non-delivery must be made in writing as to reach us within 4 days from receipt of our invoice.
12. Liability :
Save in so far as defects in the goods cause death, injury or damage to personal property, our liability for any loss or damaged suffered by you in respect of the goods shall be limited to the contract value of the goods. This shall not affect any legal right of claim for losses directly arisen from any breach of the Sales of Goods Act (1979) as amended.
13. Cancellation Charges :
You are entitled to cancel any order for non-personalised products within 7 days of receipt of such goods. You shall be entitled to a full refund less delivery charges within 28 days of our receipt of such items. Personalised items are exempt from this clause. Cancelled orders are subject to a additional £80 cancellation fee for order valued under £500. Orders over £500 are subject to a 19% cancellation fee.
14. Overdue Accounts :
No goods will be delivered on accounts, which remain unpaid 14 days after payment is due. Interest will be charged on overdue accounts, at the rate of 10% above the our bank base rate from the date the account became due until payment is received. This does not prevent us from pursuing payment of overdue accounts at any time after payment becomes due and shall be in addition to and without prejudice to any other rights we may have against you. We reserve the right to charge you for any legal or collection charges where it is necessary to obtain payment from you of an overdue account through a third party or Court proceedings.
15. Quantity changes to orders :
Any changes in quantity ordered must be made in writing prior to commencement of processing. Any increase in the order must be regarded as a separate contract unless written notification is received before work commences on the original order.
16. Artwork and printing :
All artwork and print charges will be levied where necessary. Where applicable the prices shown include printing one colour one position from film to size supplied. If you supply your own prints there will be a cutting charge of £12, an insertion charge of £12, and £30 or £35 origination charge. Failure to supply film to size will result in charges being raised for artwork. Whilst every effort is taken to match your company colours, no guarantee can be given, since a chemical reaction occurs when the ink is placed upon the product. It is not possible to match pantone colours exactly when printing on to a product other than white. Unless specified, the size and positioning of the printing will be at the discretion of the printer.

18. Force Majeure :
We will not be held responsible for failure or delay in the carrying out of our obligations under the contract arising out of any cause outside our reasonable control, such as, but not exclusively: Acts of God, Civil Commotion/Disobedience, Riots, Floods, Drought, Fire, Environmental Catastrophe and any changes in legislation, or by inability to procure materials or articles except at higher prices due to any such cause and in such circumstances we shall be entitled by notice to terminate the contract in whole or in part without incurring any liability whatsoever to you.
19. Returns Policy :
If a customer wishes to return any goods this can only be done after contact with our sales office who will issue an official returns number. PLAIN GOODS STYLE , COLOUR & SIZE If a customer wishes to return clothing in new & unworn condition which has been supplied in good faith according to the requirements of style, size & colour as ordered then there is a return charge of 20% and replacements will be arrangements as needed.
ORDER ERROR If a customer wishes to return clothing in new and unworn condition which has been supplied in error by us against an order correctly placed by a customer then such goods will be replaced free or charge or sale price refunded.
MANUFACTURING FAULTS Goods supplied by us that are shown to have an unreasonable manufacturing fault or flaw shall be either replaced free of charge or a discount may be agreed. Such goods shall need to be inspected by us before a return or refund is agreed by us. Any customer complaint will require inspection of the rejected goods & thereon a credit note or replacement goods may be agreed.
FT Promotions returns policy is as above for plain goods but in addition –
SAMPLES REQUESTED Customers have the option to have samples both of plain stock and samples of any embroidered or printed designs prior to placement of order. Once such samples have been supplied and accepted by the customer the quality of further goods supplied will be similar & of the same quality, allowing for minor production & technical factors which can be a feature of printing & embroidery onto clothing.
SAMPLES NOT REQUESTED. Customers who decline to review samples will be supplied with clothing printed or embroidered based upon our understanding of customer requirements based on drawings, images, and other details supplied. The FT Promotions will use its best endeavours at all times to produce goods which are correct and free from defect. Goods which have been produced with clear a manufacturing defect (print or embroidery not adhering to garment surface, wrong garments, wrong size or colour shirts etc) will be replaced or refund given. In the absence of such defects as described replacements & credits will not be offered.
20. Company Logos :
The products shown in this catalogue are personalised to show the effect that can be obtained, but do not necessarily imply that the products have been supplied by FT Promotions.
